Mr & Mrs Smith called in LP Kitchens because they wanted to update their existing kitchen to bring in lots of light. The old kitchen was very dark with black doors, worktops and tiles. This made the area seem very small and cramped. When removing the kitchen we closed off a section of wall that served no purpose and removed a breakfast bar that completely took over the area.
Kevin and his Debra chose “White Hi Gloss Lusso doors’ with “white sparkle worktop and upstand. They wanted everything as light as possible and also chose a white oven, hob and extractor hood. Originally they planned to have an American fridge freezer, however, we discussed this and realised that the room wasn’t big enough without the fridge completely taking over the area. We came up with a better solution; on the opposite side of the room was 2 alcoves at the side of a chimney breast. These served no purpose what so ever, so we utilised the space by installing a tall integrated freezer on one side and a tall fridge on the other. This would not only give them far more refrigeration space but, would also make use of a useless wall with extra cupboard space.
The main kitchen has 150mm pullout racks at either side of the oven, an integrated 450mm dishwasher, washer and dryer and more cupboard space than they could ever imagine. They also had under counter and wall unit LED lighting adding to create a beautiful lighting effect.
The Smith family were ecstatic with their installation and even described us as, “The Rolls Royce of kitchen fitters”, in their review.
